                                     Camp: El Caimán del Orinoco 
                                     * Location  
                                           17 km. from the small town of Soledad, in the northern bank of
          the Orinoco river. 
                                     * How to get there  
                                           By air or land to Ciudad Bolívar. Then by road following via
          Soledad-Carapa. 
                                     * Characteristics  
                                           Savanna landscape, with Xerofitica vegetation and full of
          cashew trees everywhere. As it is near the river you can have trips in curiara (indigenous boat) and walks along the bank. There are
          organized excursions for looking at fauna and flora typical of the region. Ciudad Bolívar is 45 minutes away and it is a good point
          to take a plane and go south of Bolívar state and visit some attractive spots in the Gran Sabana (Great Savan-na). Price
          includes lodging, three meals and an excursion.

          * Facilities  
                                           This original camp is the only one in this isolated region,
          located in the puddle area of the Orinoco, in front of the Laguna de la Piña. It has 32 double rooms, churuata (indigenous 
                                           structure) style, arranged in 16 units. Individual baths, electricity
          24 hours, ceiling fans, decorative thatched ceilings, windows with wire nettings, bar-restaurant.

                                          Near San Mateo, in the way to El Carito. In the
          northern side of the western plains. 
                                     * How to get there  
                                          By land to the bridge at San Mateo, then turning right
          following the route to El Carito. 
                                     * Characteristics  
                                          In this place you will find all the comforts of a hotel. It
          is an isolated place, ideal for resting and taking a break from urban noise. It is an oasis within the 
                                          solitude that marks the landscape.

                                          More than a camp, this is a comfortable and isolated
          hotel, far away from almost everything, especially for those who do not want to be seen or disturbed. It 
                                          consists of 39 comfortable rooms, with air
          conditioning, optional TV, private bath, hot water, 
                                          pool, horses, mini-zoo, tennis and ³bolas criollas²
          (Venezuelan game) courts, green areas, etc.
